Visit the Tabernacle in March |
BackgroundThe Tabernacle will be on display March 7-14 in the Great Room. Our high school youth with the help of Randi Koenig and Bill Hoover and the Shed guys built a ½ replica of the Tabernacle that the Israelites built in the wilderness. The Tabernacle or - Meeting Tent - was God's meeting place with His people in the wilderness. The same plans were used to build the Temple in Jerusalem once the Israelites settled in the Promised Land. Both foreshadow God's plan for our salvation through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. As you walk through the Tabernacle, there will be detailed information on how Christ fulfilled God's plan of redemption by replacing the Tabernacle (and Temple) with His sacrifice thus giving us forgiveness and mercy. Study Guides Study guides are available at the Info Window and at the tour. If you want one, please ask.
