Announcing the 2010-2011 MOPS Theme...

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a Christian program specifically designed for mothers of children ages birth to kindergarten. It is an exciting opportunity for fellowship with other mothers. MOPS is not a bible study. Instead, our ministry focuses on relationships and communicating the love of Jesus Christ.
A typical MOPS meeting consists of . . .
Fellowship, food and speakers on varied relevant topics (i.e. parenting, relationship building, health and safety.) Small group discussion and a life skill activity or demonstration completes the meeting.

The purpose of Crossroads' MOPS ministry is to nurture each mom's personal growth through comfort, love and strength in a safe and caring environment. We will provide Christian fellowship and education and encourage involvement of each mom by listening to and respecting her unique needs. We will strive to recognize and accept our humanity and nurture the gift of receiving and giving unconditional love.

MOPS International was founded on the belief in God's love for mothers of preschoolers, a love that fully affirms the identity and value of each mother. Moms have needs. Just because we take care of others doesn't mean we don't need some gentle care, too. We need understanding, encouragement, time out and help. We need to know that mothering matters and mothers matter. MOPS International wants moms to know that through the strength and love of Jesus Christ we will get through this challenging, yet rewarding, time of our lives.
