The APNC has been meeting since the end of October to discern and find the person God has in store for us as an associate pastor at Crossroads. We are excited to announce that we have offered a call to a candidate and he has accepted. Rev. Scott D. Samuelson is a God-loving, kind, gentle and spiritual person. In our many interactions with him we have enjoyed getting to know Scott and his desire to help spread the love of God.
Scott was most recently employed as both a university chaplain and director of student leadership and formation at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill. Prior to working at the collegiate level, Scott has been an Associate Pastor of Adult Ed and Pastoral Care at First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge, IA., Director of Student Ministry at First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville, IL and a Campus & Urban Minister for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in Chicago. Scott and his wife, Haley, and son, Elijah, live in Gurnee, Illinois.
