Alzheimer’s Support Group

Alzheimer’s Support Group
Third Tuesdays at  5:00 – 6:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room

Being a caregiver is a very important job, but it is an extremely hard job.
You not only have to understand how to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, but caregivers need to make sure they take care of their own health and attitude. This group provides an opportunity for caregivers and participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. It is a safe place to get insight, healing, reassurance, comfort, understanding, and practical advice from others that are dealing with the disease.

Meet monthly on the third Tuesday. Free and open to the public.
