Advent & Christmas Worship Services

The Advent season is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of Jesus’ birth at Christmas. Because the word Advent means “coming,” Christians not only remember Jesus’ coming to earth as “Emmanuel,” or “God with us,” but also look forward to Christ’s second-coming return to earth, crying “Maranatha,” or “Lord Jesus, quickly come!”

On the four Sundays of Advent, we light the Advent wreath candles and often sing “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” plus many other beloved carols—especially on Christmas Eve. So come just as you are and join us for any or all of the worship services at Crossroads. Together we’ll get ready to celebrate the Christ child on Christmas.
