Christmas Eve Services

Christmas Eve Candlelight Services
Thursday, December 24 at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Experience one of our beautiful and memorable Christmas Eve services. Worship includes lighting all the Advent wreath candles, telling the Christmas story according to Luke, and singing beloved Christmas carols, ending with “Silent Night” by candlelight and a festive “Joy to the World!”

2:00–3:00 p.m. Drive-through candle pick-up for online worshipers, if you’d rather not use your own during “Silent Night. Note: 4:00 p.m. worshipers will receive their candles when they arrive at the church.

4:00 p.m. Register here for outdoor worship on the front lawn of the church, as done for many late summer services. Bring a chair, your face covering, and space out on the front lawn for carols, the Christmas story, and a short message. We will still pass the light of Christ with our candles—all weather permitting! Please register in advance for contact tracing if needed and also check in with an usher when you arrive. Click here for the bulletin and song lyrics.

6:00 p.m. Watch the online premiere or our full pre-recorded Christmas Eve Service, featuring our pastors, our worship musicians, our church children and families presenting our first ever Virtual Christmas pageant called “Do Not Be Afraid”! Visit either YouTube or Facebook right at 6:00 p.m., or watch worship at your leisure after 7:15 p.m. Feel free to use the comments and chat features to connect with others.
