Festival Music Sunday

Festival Music Sunday
December 9

Come and worship with the Festival Choir and Orchestra at 9:30 a.m. on December 9, the second Sunday of Advent. We will look through the window of peace, visit with Isaiah the prophet and John the Baptist, and experience a message in both word and music. Enjoy singing carols like “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” and “It Came upon the Midnight Clear” as well as hearing Jenee O’Connor offer hope from Handel’s “Messiah.” Jesus Christ is our peace! There will be childcare and Children’s Worship, and the service will run longer than an hour.
After worship, please come to the CLC for a free All-Church Potluck. Bring a friend and your favorite dish to share. Volunteers are needed to help with the event, click here to sign up. During the brunch, folks of all ages are encouraged to gather around tables with poster-sized Advent coloring pages to create beautiful collaborative artwork to be displayed next week.

Youth and adults of all abilities are needed to sing or play in the Festival Choir and Orchestra. Rehearsals are at 7:00 p.m.,  December 6 for all musicians, with dress rehearsal December 8 at 9:00 a.m. Contact: Todd O’Connor.
