Festival Music Sunday and Potluck
Come and worship with the Festival Choir and Orchestra at 9:30 a.m. on December 1, the first Sunday of Advent. We will focus on the preparing for the Light, visit with Isaiah the prophet, and experience a message in both word and music.
Enjoy singing carols like “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” and “Joy to the World!” Jesus Christ is the Light of the World and we celebrate his coming! Childcare and Children’s Worship are offered, and the service will run longer than an hour due to Communion together.
Join everyone for the Festival Potluck Brunch in the CLC, after the 9:30 a.m. worship! Sign up here to bring a dish to share, to help set up, help serve, and help clean up at this fellowship event. During the brunch, everyone is encouraged to gather around tables with poster-sized Advent coloring pages to create beautiful collaborative artwork to be displayed the next week. Contact: Kim Steffen
