Christmas Mission Night: Crossroads youth is excited to partner with the Mission and Outreach team to help serve the Foundations for Nations ministry on the Wind River Indian Reservation this Christmas season. Jesus has called us to serve those with less than we have and this is a great opportunity to spread the love of Christ this Christmas season to Native families less fortunate then us. On December 2 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. we will be collecting gifts from students, packing gifts into shipping boxes, praying over these gifts, and writing Christmas cards to the students on the reservation. What gifts could your student buy for these Native students? The list includes basketballs, remote control cars, Lego sets, nerf guns, super hero toys, board games, matchbox car sets, sports hats, barbies, dolls, craft kits, make up kits, playdoh, baby toys, and hooded sweatshirts. All students grades 6-12 are invited to come and share Christ’s love during this season of hope.

Winter Retreat: January 11-13.  As we enter the winter season, our middle school ministry is excited to offer our students a winter retreat. “Deep Freeze” is a weekend long getaway at Covenant Harbor on beautiful Lake Geneva in southern WI. Crossroads will be going from Friday, January 11 to Sunday, January 13 for two days of speakers, outdoor activities, worship music, and fun! The cost for the weekend is $180 per student. To register go to covenantharbor.org and click on the blue “Register” button at the top left. Be sure you choose the Winter Camp 2019 season, the dates of your weekend (January 11-13) and the name of our church group (Crossroads Presbyterian) so you can correctly select the weekend and our church’s registration.
