Celebrate Holy Week
All are invited to attend our special services during Holy Week! Come experience everything in between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday with evening worship on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Palm Sunday, April 13
Begin Holy Week waving palms during worship at 9:00 a.m., with childcare and Children’s Worship. Rev. Scott D. Samuelson will preach on “Shouting & Silence” (Luke 19:29–40). Share a free all-church brunch after the service. Please register in advance. Donations accepted.
Maundy Thursday, April 17
Remember the Last Supper with a unique service of Communion and reflection at 7:00 p.m. with a contemporary worship team. Our pastors will lead us through Luke 22:7–27 emphasizing prayer and community.
Good Friday, April 18
Consider the cross on this solemn night with Scripture, silence, and a moving cantata with a chamber ensemble at 7:00 p.m. Come early for the choral prelude. Rev. Anna Langholz will preach on “Acceptance & Resistance” (Luke 23:32–49).
Easter Sunday, April 20
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus by bringing a cut flower for the Flowering Cross of Easter! The sunrise service will be outdoors at 6:00 a.m. (not livestreamed), so bring a chair and blanket. Indoor worship at 9:00 a.m. features the Festival Choir and Orchestra with childcare and Children’s Worship. Rev. Scott D. Samuelson will preach on “Grief & Hope” (Luke 24:1–12).
