Worship Arts

Worship Ministry Directors Todd and Jenee O’Connor are glad to connect with you on any of the opportunities to serve at Sunday morning worship services listed below. Click here for specific musical opportunity lists for children, youth, and adults.

Are you passionate about worship and singing? 7:00 p.m. rehearsals twice monthly on Thursdays prepare interested youth and adult singers to lead worship once monthly at both Nine and Eleven. For the little Cherub Choir and grades 1-5 Joyful Noise Children’s Choir, contact Jenee O’Connor.

Worship Teams and Vocal Quartets
Leading on instruments and vocal mikes one-to-a-part requires skill and a heart for God. Assigned groups rehearse on a Wednesday or Thursday night before a Sunday service. Guitars, piano and drums are key at Nine, with singing ensembles leading at both Nine and Eleven. Youth also encouraged and welcome; contact Jenee O’Connor.

Brass, strings, and woodwinds are incorporated in many creative ways on many Sundays, including as duos and trios all the way up to full orchestras. Rehearsals are called as assigned for all ages and abilities.

The Chancel Ringers are a committed group that rehearses most Tuesdays and plays once monthly in a wide variety of styles. Contact Betsy Tiedens Genné to try your hand!

Actors and Dancers
If you have stage background in theater or dance (or even just an interest), we’ll find an opportunity for you to use your gift in a worship setting.

Readers and Liturgists
A team of those who can read, write and lead prayers, Scripture, and special moments during worship services is important to the worship ministry.

Other Opportunities
Sound and video techs, ushers and greeters, and sanctuary decorators, plus many others are all part of making Sunday morning happen for our worshipping community.
