Worship Arts Opportunities

Worship Ministry Directors Todd and Jenee O’Connor are glad to connect with you on any of the opportunities to serve at Sunday morning worship services listed below. Click here for the Adult Music Ministry Calendar 2023-2024, including various choirs, instrumental ensembles, and handbells.

Choir
Are you passionate about worship and singing? During the program year, the Worship Choir rehearses twice monthly to prepare interested youth and adult singers to lead worship once monthly. For a schedule including Festival Choir, the Cherub Choir, and grades 1-5 Joyful Noise Children’s Choir, contact Jenee O’Connor.

Worship Teams and Vocal Ensembles
Leading on instruments and vocal mics one-to-a-part requires skill and a heart for God. Assigned groups rehearse on a Wednesday or Thursday night before a Sunday service. Youth (middle school and high school) are also encouraged and welcome! Contact: Jenee O’Connor

Instrumentals
Brass, strings, and woodwinds are incorporated in creative ways on Sundays, including as duos and trios all the way up to full orchestras. Rehearsals are called as assigned for youth and adults of all abilities. Contact: Todd O’Connor

Handbells
The Chancel Ringers are a committed group that rehearses most Tuesdays during the program year and plays once monthly in a wide variety of styles. Contact: Todd O’Connor

Actors and Dancers
If you have stage background in theater or dance (or even just an interest), we’ll look for an opportunity for you to use your gift in a worship setting. Contact: Todd O’Connor

Readers and Liturgists
A team of those who can read, write and lead prayers, Scripture, and special moments during worship services is important to the worship ministry. Contact: Todd O’Connor

Other Opportunities
Sound and video techs, ushers and greeters, sanctuary decorators, plus many others are all part of making Sunday morning happen for our worshipping community. Contact: Todd O’Connor
