Authority/Charter
To serve as a committee of the Session with support to the Senior Pastor, examine multiple areas of the church, and make recommendations to Session involving long-term strategies. The areas of the church examined would be determined by the Senior Pastor and the Compass Committee as advised by an outside consultant or any strategic goals the Session sets.
The committee and consultant would have no authority to act on their own. All recommendations would be approved by the Session.

Updates
JANUARY 2023
Our Session, Pastors, Staff, and Compass Team met with our consultant Tod Bolsinger of AESloan for a workshop on Saturday morning, January 21.
It was an energy filled morning spent learning and discussing the first phase of our Compass Project. The preliminary survey results were shared. The Compass project is a long process of prayerful discernment, and the recent survey was the first step in gathering information about Crossroads. The next steps will be focus groups and story-telling in February and March. Final report for Phase 1 will be in May.
