Opportunities to Love and Serve

Every disciple has a call and every call has an action. As our church family steps forward in faith, connecting more people more deeply with God’s love, every hand and every voice are needed. Please consider and pray. Take a look and take action!

Join Our Audiovisual Team.
Do you have a gift for technology and an eye for photography? Perhaps God gifted you with skills that would help our A/V team. We’re seeking reliable team players to help as camera operators and slide projection. Contact: Steve Carpenter.

Be a host on Sunday mornings.
Greeters welcome people with a smile and handshake as they enter the narthex for 15 minutes prior to Worship at Nine and Eleven. The Welcome Center welcomes visitors and provides information before and after the two worship services. The Coffee Crew prepares and serves coffee during the fellowship time. Lead Worship.
Singers and instrumentalists of all ages are needed to rehearse midweek and lead worship at Nine and Eleven on Sunday mornings. Short-term opportunities for children, youth, and adults abound! Contact: Todd O’Connor.

Lead Children’s Worship.
Children’s Worship Leaders serve on their schedule by signing up for Sunday mornings during worship at 9:00 a.m. Sharing Bible stories and age-appropriate worship with children age 4 through grade 1 is what it’s all about. Contact: Christa Middleton.

Fertilize Faith.
By serving as a leader or facilitator for one of our Adult Discipleship Groups! We learn best when we grow and serve together. Small group leaders are needed for new groups of women, men and couples, and opportunities to facilitate are available on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. Contact: Scott Samuelson.

Coordinate Mission Projects.
We are looking for a “Connections Coordinator” who will help connect our small groups with local mission opportunities. Contact: Scott Samuelson.

Invest in Our Young People.
The youth ministry team is looking for members of the congregation who have a passion for high school and middle school students. There are many ways to serve the future generation: teaching Sunday school, leading Wednesday night Bible studies, and much more. Just reach out to us! Most positions require about 2-3 hours of time commitment each week from September-May. Contact: Tanya Naas (High School Ministry) or Maddy Hosni (Middle School Ministry).

Lead a Youth Worship Team.
Adult leaders are needed to shepherd and assist the middle school and high school youth worship teams on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Musical skills are desired but not required! Contact: Jenee O’Connor.

Have fun while making a difference in the life of a child.
Crossroads Christian Preschool is in need of caring individuals who love working with children to volunteer in a preschool classroom on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. Even once a month would be a huge blessing. Contact: Maureen Leurquin.

Help keep our grounds beautiful.
Consider “Adopting a Garden” and become part of our Garden Gang! Areas around the church need to be kept free of weeds. Work on your schedule as a family, or individually. Areas that need help: sanctuary cross bed, Rev. Scott Hauser Memorial Labyrinth, flag garden, upper parking lot daylily bed. Contact: Carol Bird.
