Alzheimer’s Support Group
This support group meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. It is free, open to the public, and in person. Click here to register in advance online or, call the church office 262.242.1670.
A support group provides an opportunity for caregivers and participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. This is a safe place to get insight, healing, reassurance, comfort, understanding, and practical advice from others that are dealing with the disease. Being a caregiver is a very important job, but it is an extremely hard job. You not only have to understand how to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, but caregivers need make sure they take care of their own health and attitude.
Emergency Care Needs: Call the church office 262-242-1670. After regular hours, follow the voice mail message prompts to access the Pastoral Staff on call.
The care of the congregation involves the Deacons, Elders, Lay Leaders, and Pastoral Staff. These individuals minister to the spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs of the Crossroads community by offering hope, support, and spiritual guidance. We strive to do this through Christ’s love and sensitivity during times of struggle, pain, fear, and vulnerability.
