High School

Jesus Loves. Jesus Inspires. Jesus Transforms.
In joyful response, the youth ministry of Crossroads Presbyterian Church exists to invite and equip youth and their families to be passionate disciples of Jesus.

Welcome visitors! Checking out Crossroads with your family for the first time? Fill out a visitor form online Monday through Thursday to save time checking your children in on their first day. Or, fill out a paper visitor form when you come to the church.

At the Table
Monthly, Sundays from 6:00–7:30 p.m.

Adventures in food for high school students! Meet once a month in the Crossroads kitchen during our regular youth group time to create and enjoy a meal together. Bring a willingness to try new foods and closed-toed shoes! See upcoming At the Table events here.

High School Worship Team
Sundays, 5:30–6:00 p.m.

All interested vocalists and instrumentalists in grades 9-12 are welcome! Meet before Youth Group to practice and lead our youth worship time. Contact Jenee O’Connor to get involved.

D-Groups
during High School Youth Group

Are you a high school student who is interested in digging deeper in your faith? Discipleship groups, better known as D-Groups, are the perfect opportunity to discuss life and faith in a small, tight-knit community! D-Groups are often based on grade-level and gender, but not always. Contact Tanya to get involved.

Confirmation
During High School Youth Group

In Confirmation, students in grade 9 explore what it means to follow Christ, be part of a Presbyterian church family, and grow in our relationship with God. This experience involves weekly classes with Pastor Scott over the course of the school year, service opportunities, a Confirmation retreat, and completing a personal story of faith. Register here for 2024-25.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities for students to serve at Crossroads and in our local communities. Youth are especially encouraged to bring their gifts and talents to these teams:

  • Worship Team
  • Audio-Visual (AV) Team – Drama / Video
  • Children’s Ministries (Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings) or during VBS
