Children’s Ministry

Children’s Ministry is looking for high school youth and adults who feel called to serve our youngest disciples! We would love to match your unique talents to the needs of our ministries. From Sunday mornings to Wednesday evenings to a variety of one-time activities, there are lots of ways and times to “Love Him, Serve Them, Grow Together!”

We want everyone to feel safe at Crossroads.  Our Child Protection Plan helps us build a safe environment for children and persons of all physical and cognitive abilities. Volunteers are asked to review and agree to this plan as preparation for your role in the classroom. Read the full plan here.

Workshop with Autism Specialist
Sunday, August 28 at 11:30 a.m. OR
Wednesday, August 31 at 7:00 p.m.
As we start a new program year, staff and volunteers in Children’s Ministry, childcare, and youth are all invited to get some helpful ideas to take into the classroom this year!

Join us for a workshop with Danielle Ozimek, an autism specialist in the local school district. Danielle will share about her experiences, methods that help her students, and the kind of language to use when we talk about autism and children of all abilities.

Choose between the two dates. Each will be capped at 25 participants so the workshop is interactive and personal. Childcare is available Wednesday, 8/31. Register here to reserve your spot!
