Crossroads Christian Preschool Classes and Curriculum
Monday and Wednesday Preschool: Two mornings a week, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
In a loving Christian environment, our programs provide children with a great introduction to preschool. The curriculum consists of age appropriate activities that enhance children’s language, self-help, listening, and social development skills. Students will also be exposed to letter and number recognition, small and large motor activities, pre-math, science, reading, and handwriting skills which will help prepare them for the academic structure of 4K.
2K Preschool: Welcoming children who will turn 2 by September 1 of the school year. Children do not need to be fully potty-trained but working on it.*
3K Preschool: Welcoming children who will turn 3 by September 1 of the school year and are confidently potty-trained.* This is also a great opportunity for children who turn 3 in the summer and whose parents know they will be waiting to send their child to 4K.
*A child may be placed in a class based on his/her maturity level and social development versus solely on his/her age. This would be at the sole discretion of the Director of Preschool.
Nature & Science Class (optional add-on): Available to both 2K and 3K each Friday, 9:00–11:30 a.m.
Curriculum: This program is one of the highlights of our year! It is a great way to plant the seed of scientific learning in your child, as well as enhance their math and science skills prior to 4K and kindergarten. The teachers use their creativity and love for the outdoors to help the preschoolers explore, discover, and nurture their curiosity about the world around them.
Lunch Bunch (optional add-on): Available to both 2K and 3K on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Extend the day from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Description: Children bring their own lunch from home and eat with their friends and teachers. Then, they have extra play time and are introduced to a special activity. Children can attend Lunch Bunch on any or all offered days throughout the year— you select which dates you prefer! $14.00 per day during the 2023-2024 school year.
