2023-2024 Crossroads Annual Financial Report

2023-2024 Annual Ministry Report

At Crossroads, financial giving has two important components: Giving and Pledging.

Giving is a part of our spiritual relationship with God. It is an expression of our stewardship of what God has given to each of us. At the heart of our giving is God’s generosity: loving us beyond measure, forgiving us beyond reason, blessing us beyond compare, and calling us into life, both abundant and eternal.

Pledging is a part of planning. It communicates your intentions about what you will give in the coming year, which allows the church to responsibly steward the gifts of our faithful and generous congregation. Our Session uses the pledges of the congregation to plan for the ministries and mission of the church.  Pledges allow us to be caretakers and managers of the financial resources that provide for staffing, programming, support of our mission partners, and care of our buildings and grounds.

Please note: To have a gift credited to your 2024 giving record and/or pledge, it must be received at the church before Tuesday, December 31. This is true of online donations, as well as cash and check gifts, stock, and donations from an IRA or donor-advised charitable fund.

This is a change from past years when gifts postmarked by 12/31 could be counted towards the prior year even if they weren’t received until January. The church office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24 at noon through Friday, December 27, but gifts may be dropped off during the Christmas Eve or December 29 worship services. The church office will reopen for regular hours on December 30 and 31. For mailed gifts, allowing 1-3 business days is recommended.
