Habitat for Humanity

The 2017 Habitat house, to be built by the Presbyterian Coalition this year, will be in honor of Rev. Scott Hauser. This house will be in the 2100 block of N. 32nd Street in Milwaukee. Workers are needed to build walls, and prepare/deliver lunch for the group of workers.

  • we will be insulating this house on Saturday, July 15, and installing drywall on Saturdays, July 29, August 5, 12, and 19. At least 12 volunteers are needed each of these days. Please register on the Habitat website (click). Contact is Bob Patton 262-242-4014 Anyone over 16 years of age is welcome to help build but must be 18 to use power tools.

Milwaukee is in the middle of a 5-year plan to change the neighborhood as part of the Neighborhood Revitalization Plan.  This is a fun opportunity to work with other members and learn construction and carpentry skills.
